Did anyone else set eggs today??

I did!! I set buff orpington and RIRs from my own chickens. I'm using a Brinsea Eco.

What did you set, how many and what are you using for an incubator?

i did. Leghorn egg, ee egg , 2 dominiques and 2 ee x dominiques .

I set Blue Olive Eggers, Barred Olive Eggers, Ameraucanas, Marans, & some mystery light green eggs someone sent me for free. I'm using a Hovabator 2thousand something. My humidty is lingering at 40%, I can't seem to get it up much, is 40 OK?

forty should be ok. But getting closer to hatch maybe bump it up to 57 or somwhere a little above that. But remenber increase it slowly. Not drasticaly or else it copuld haver harmful consequenses.

So I can't just put a small wet sponge in? Is that drastic?

thas ok cuz its still early.make sure it does not get above 67.9 humid.

Yep I set 30 Silkie eggs from Janet of Hattrick Silkies. They are White, Buff & Partridge! I have a ton more to set tonight !
