Mean Rooster Article

I read it just now. Makes some sense, because I will be the first to tell you flogging a rooster is useless.

That article had me laughing out loud! The author definitely has a sense of humor. I don't have a rooster, but I wanted to share the article.

Great article, but roosters do not just see you as another rooster, they can also see you as a predator from whom they must protect their flock. What you want them to view you as is a treat-and-food dispensing force of nature. That fighting you makes as much sense as fighting a storm or a huge tree.

When a rooster tries to attack, get down at their level and hold your arms straight out to grab him (if he comes in range). Once you have him, carry him on his back in a football hold as you carry out your chores. A few minutes later, offer a treat from your hand and put him dpwn carefully.
