Give it a week, then candle - you should definitely see something then, assuming your egg shells are light enough that you can candle them. I was seeing vague blobs around Day 3, so you could see something then too, but by one week, it will be obvious which eggs are fertile (developing), and which eggs are not. There's a couple Articles in the Learning Center part of this forum that have day-by-day pictures of embryo development in candled eggs. They were correct and super helpful for me - check them out.How old is old? My rooster died last Saturday. I have 7 eggs in an incubator since Mon, rest were on counter, unwashed, I put them in incubator this morning. This is all experimental. When if ever shall I see something inside?
