DH and I visited some friends who own an antique shop the other day . They had just finished cleaning out a barn , had old nest boxes , metal feeders and a big cabinet . Turns out the cabinet is an incubator , plate on it says Montgomery Wards model 75lz-3666b . They wanted 50$ for it so we bought it and they are deliver5ing it to us this week . I could not find any info on the net about it but did stumble on leahy incubators and they look just like the one we got . Does anyone have any information that might help . the incubator seems to be complete , thermometers , hygrometer , drawers , might need the wiring checked but DH is able to do that. My main question is did we get a good deal or a dud ?
Thanks for any help.

Sounds like a good deal to me. I have been hoping to stumble across a vintage incubator but no luck for me

I'm looking for an old Leahy. Found one but it was so far away and shipping killed the deal. I would love to find one close to home. How many drawers?? What are the dimensions of the cabinet?? How much does it weigh?? Is it redwood?? Thanks Woody

Schultz - that looks almost the same as the one I am getting , guess 50$ and free delivery ain't too bad.

Slywoody - yes it is redwood , stuff lasts forever .
