Did I end up with celibate toms?

Seriously... my toms don't seen to be interested in my hen. I have three toms that are just over 6 months old along with one hen. The toms walk around almost all day puffed up like the marshmallow man yet they seem like they could care less about the hen (and she appears to feel the same way about them). Do turkeys just not consummate the relationship as often as chickens do???? My Roos tend to get their groove on at least a few times... every HOUR! Since I'm assuming that they're not meeting up in the wee hours of the morning for a tryst, what can I do to help the cause here??? Perhaps lock them in the barn, play some Sinatra and hope for the best???

Yeah... so if anyone has any thoughts on this let me know...

thanks in advance-

Almost August -could get some one-off coverage but probably no heavy activity until sometime in Feb. Could see more activity during Sept./Oct. (think Spring in reverse - but unlikely issue from efforts). Would strongly suggest separating out preferred tom with hen during first warm spell in Feb. Three vigorously amorous toms with one hen? Very little, if any, actual breeding, plenty of sparring by toms (knocking one another off of hen - with likely potential for injury to hen).

Yes, What he^ said. I wouldn't expect anything until spring and then you will see much fighting with that many Toms in one pen with a single female.

6 months is also a little young for a tom also, they will strut, but probably not totally mature yet, either. Is your hen laying? Most turkeys stop laying all together at the end of June to the middle of July.

i was thinking some Luther Vandros might do the trick
