These are supposed to be two black australorps and then one mystery chicken that's white with orange legs. At least one of the Australorps is crowing regularly. I think the other one has on occasion also. I don't know if they are displaying Roo characteristics because they're all hens and chilling the role or because they are actually Roos. The white one has not crowed but seems to be very protective. Also if you happen to know what the white one is breed wise

let me know. Thanks!

Australorps -Roos.

White one a leghorn I think.. I’ll let someone else take a guess on gender.
ETA: l am incorrect on the white one. The ears are the wrong color.

Aaargh! Well that's what I get as a newbie buying local lol. They are 14 to 16 weeks old. I have two others that are about the same age that I really hope our hens. I'll post pictures of those in a little bit.

Glad I ordered an all pullet pack from the hatchery later!

Thank you!

Are these two at least hens? And what breeds? I believe they are about 14 weeks old.

Those will all be big boys who need lots of space. How many pullets do you have? For each cockerel you keep you really need at least 10 pullets to keep everyone happy and healthy.

See how they end up acting and keep the best,unless their not overbreeding and acting off,you can keep all,as long as you have space,but you have males.I would atleast have 18ish if you keep two,and maybe twenty something if you kept all three.

Always have a plan b plan/cage.Roosters provide watch outs but if you have no sorta attachment to them there is no need or plan to breed there is no need for them.
