Snow??? Holy Cow, tomorrow is only Sep 1st. We are suppose to get some of the hurricane on Thurs

I have a feeling it will stay to the east of us. We may get some tropical weather. I hope you don't get to much snow. You want some of our heat????

Right now I have 2 that hatched. One chick is huge.....

I have one that is taking it's sweet time getting out of its shell. It is a FBCM chick. I have 5 others with little pip holes.

After that a lot more to go. I haven't counted

Are we all having fun yet?

Nah, I like the cold. Where are you? Florida?

I'm wondering if I'm going to have any more hatch in this group. No more chicks yet.

I'm hoping that I get a few more Marans and at least one blue orpington.

But who knows?

This is my first time incubating eggs, so I think three is awesome.

And yeah! I'm having fun!

We borrowed a bator from a friend and it has this clear top which is great. Problem is, it has a none stop blinking light. Pictures are impossible to take. 5 more chicks hatched. I have 7 so far. I had to help one out of its shell this morning. He spent all night trying to get out. Ended up that the chick had a very thing egg shell and he was ass backwards! A breech baby

All is well now

The way these baby chicks bounce around in that bator I should have more chicks wanting to come out.

Either that or they will be afraid to see what's out side of there cozy home

I am in southeastern NC. Looking forward to some cooler weather. It's been a very hot summer this year

Congrats! I have one egg at home that I got from a farmer they said to just pick one so I did but I didnt think that it would be fertile but it is! Me and my mom heard 3 chirps and peeps this morning out of him and I'm pretty sure that I heard tapping!!
