Did I just break my broody hen?

She got off of them sometime in the night.I went out and she was sleeping next to them with her feet rested on the BR egg

I am just going to go ahead and find me a bator or even just go to the auction coming up and get some chicks.

Yippeeeee! She finally settled in and is setting on the eggs. Thank you all for your experiences. You all helped me relax enough to stop checking on her every 30 seconds and just go to sleep. My kids and I did the happy dance this morning when we checked in and saw her setting happily on her eggs. We're gonna have baby chickies, we're gonna have baby chickies

Thank you Sunny_Side_Up I now have "the Chickie Cha-cha" chant running through my head. I'll have to tell it to my little ones, they'll go crazy dancing around the house chanting that one.

Mine got off and is not sitting on the eggs anymore. Oh well. Im hoping the hen that is laying the fertile eggs will go broody and sit on her own eggs.
