Hen stopped laying..

This hen of mine has stopped laying eggs, it has been nearly a year since I got an egg from her. She has oyster shells, pellets all within her reach. I thought maybe one time she was laying somewhere else beside the hen house. I have searched my yard and no eggs were found, also been trying to watch and see where she goes. No luck there either. My other hens lay their eggs in the hen house like good girls. Any ideas what’s going on with her? Also would like to know what she is.. I was told an Olive Picker.. Any ideas or suggestions you can toss my way, would be appreciated.

She may be done. A hen only has a certain amount of ova.

x2. Even without using up all her ova, some hit "henopause" and slow and then quit laying, or never come back into lay after winter break.

I wonder if they meant Olive Egger. Were her eggs green-ish back when she was laying? Looks like she has a pea comb, or at least, not a single comb.

How old was she when you got her, and how long have you had her?

She’s very pretty! Is she up pretty high in the social order? Older hens who are done laying are often very valuable in flock dynamics, maintaining order amidst the drama.
