Did I make sexable chicks?

I just recently hatched out 8 little mixed chicks. All had a Blue Cochin for the dad, but three had a Barred Rock for the mom. Would these chicks be sexable? I noticed two of the three had white spots on their heads, boys? The other moms where Mottled Houdan, TetraTint, and Salmon Faverolles, none of them would make a sexable chick right? They are so cute too!

Thanks! That means I ended up with a blue girl, and one black barred boy and one blue barred boy. I can't wait to see what the blue barred looks like!

No, white leghorns have a dominate white gene, so all chicks will be white with a few black/barred spots. If you use a barred rooster, most if not all the chicks will be barred.

For sex linked chicks, the barred parent must be the mother. She passes the barring gene to only the males.

Barred males pass barring to all the chicks so they would not be sex linked.
