Did my black australorp hen become a rooster? She has started to crow, and is strutting, but I've also seen her (rarely) lay an egg. She's just 1.

Still looks like a hen. Hormonal gender appearance change rarely happens in a hen that young, but if she has reproductive tract problems it is possible.

There's no real dominant hen in my flock of 9. No one is henpecked, not even the bantams.
