Animal neglect/cruelty is a serious offense if you wanted to press the matter.

I'm so glad that some places make people take care of their animals but in the area I live it seems like nobody takes care of their animals properly , dogs always look malnourished excetera and nobody cares and the cops don't even come when called about something very important (like a male neighbor harassing and threatening me and me scared to go inside. God will protect me though. He always has and always will.) ,because there's so much crime in the area. God bless you and thank you for your response. And thank you all for being so kind. It was unexpected.
