Did my chickens kill a young hen in the coop?

This is ONE of many snakes we found last summer. It was getting all of our broody hens eggs. We had 4 broody hens. No eggs survived. We killed about 8 black snakes or racers. It even killed one of our Muscovy hens while she was sitting on her nest. We think she tried to fight it, and it apparently strangled her and then tried to swallow her. The only reason we know that, is because her head and neck were shiny and wet. Not this hen in the pic, she is still with us. This is mo. She is a pied Muscovy. And she is a mess lol she hates everybody, including other ducks and all chickens. She does love her man though, Mr. Scovy. I don't blame her lol he's very handsome. He is a little bit of a ladies man, but he loves her. U can tell. She is his main squeeze. Good luck getting the snake. And just in case you don't know, snakes have a strong homing sense and will return if you just take it off and release it. We found out the hard way.
