It started out as a joke when my daughter was very young...
everything I have is named Bob. Dog, cat, chicken...made no difference,
if I got to name it, it was Bob. Hen or rooster, still Bob.
Outside dog is Yellow Bob. (yellow lab)
Our chickens include, Fast Bob, Slow Bob, White Bob, Mean Bob, Loud Bob.
Bobette is the queen lady of the pen. Her best friend is Little Bob.
Anyone see a pattern here?
We also have:
Bob the truck is our Dodge pickup.
Bob...(just bob) is my favorite Halloween outfit.
Bob's Wood's are the name of our woods.
I even have a "Bob" blanket.
Bob the bear lives on a shelf.
It all started with Bob the Dog, who just wandered in one day and stayed
forever. Looked like a Blue Heeler, chased a little girls sticks, always ready
to play in the yard or laze on the front porch. Loved walking in the woods.
Gone these past years, but he was a good dog. Left a big memory.

But no, I am not related to George Forman. I don't even have a
George Forman grill.
But....I do have an Uncle Bob.
And an Aunt Bob, and her oldest boy is my first cousin Bob.
Her middle boy is my second cousin Bob. And for obvious reasons,
her youngest boy is my third cousin Bob.
See? You'll learn not to ask silly questions.
And before you say something, all my cousins have numbers...I keep
them counted that way, in case one gets lost or something.
It's a Kentucky thing...when you're born, you don't got no cousins yet,
cause you're a new baby. Then when the next'un is born, their number
is "one"...first cousin. Then comes "second cousin and so forth.
Aunt Bob, she's in charge of the family tree and other important things like
that.
But basically, the way it works is that my first cousin is not a first cousin to me.
His first cousin is my second cousin, his second cousin is my third cousin and so
on. My faimily is all pretty good at math, counting, and like that. Good thing too,
cause my first cousin's second cousin's first cousin is really my third cousin.
