DID THE EGG BREAK OR PIP (turns out it pipped lol)

ok so the power in my house went out so i moved my incubator with quail eggs outside. i dropped one while out and looked quickly at it but saw no cracks. temps were high during incubation, but the eggs are supposed to hatch in 2 days. i heard no peeping or moving, but i did see a hole in the membrane and shell of an egg. did i drop and crack it, or did it pip?

Update: put it up to my ear and heard chirping but it might have been my chicks upstairs omfg my heart is beating so fast (btw im incubating quail, it's day 16 they hatch on day 18)

Bad news: its at the wrong end so i'm going to probably have to assist. i opened the pip a bit but there was blood so i put it back

Malpositioned need more time as they have missed their internal pip part of hatching out. All that blood needs to be absorbed and the yolk before it's ready to hatch.

Another update: 4 are hatching, and the chick mentioned here seems to have cross beak from what i can see when it pokes its head out. it's a bit worrying.
