Okay, not really freeze per say... but are they alive?

I checked my temperature this morning and it was 98˚!

I know it was that way all night too because I was having trouble with the bator yesterday..

What do you think?

Ditto that.
With a broody hen she circulates the eggs from right under her (say 100+ degrees) to under her wings and kind of hanging out where it is a lot cooler...she rotates the eggs so they all get a chance in the warm bit...so a temporary drop in temperature in an incubator to something like 98 degrees should be no problem at all.

Someone sent me some hatching eggs once and some of them had embryos already well developed. By mistake no doubt. They had been without heat from Friday to Tuesday and still hatched. Chicken embroyos are pretty tough.

We had a power outage while we were asleep so did not catch it. When we woke up and checked the temp. in the incubator it was 74!!! This happened on day 10 and we figure the power was out for 3-4 hours. Yesterday we had the first 100% hatch rate I have ever had....
You should be just fine.
