Didn't receive shipment!!!! what do I do???

I ordered some chicks from Ideal on 7/7/08. They sent me an email stating my order would be shipped on 7/16/08. I have checked with the post office yesterday. They said it might take til today. Well, called post office back. Nope, no chicks. It is Saturday. The hatchery is closed til Monday. I sent them an email. I don't know what else to do. Even though I wanted these chicks by this weekend. I hope that they have not shipped them for some unforseen circumstance rather than think that they are just lying around at some place just waiting to get to me. Have I done everything I can or what? This is only my 3rd order placed with a hatchery.

I hope shipment was delayed and they are not lost in the mail somewhere. I think you have done everything you can do. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

Although the hatchery is closed for the weekend,do you think they still check their email for things like this.

you still might get them I got mine on a Sunday.My local post office wasn't open but the distribution center was. But the 16th is a long time.

Oh nos!!!! I was hoping to order some chicks from Ideal as soon as I can get the money, now I am worried about ordering from them!!!

Assorted d Uccle Bantam 3
Barred Rock roo 2
Ameraucanas/EEs pullets 3

This is the last of my chicks/buying to replace all the ones that where killed by that evil cat.
Anyway now i hope Ideal made a mistake with your shipping date cause i sure hate the thought of those chicks being in route this long.

I ordered mine on the 12th, and they told me the shipping date was going to be the 16th. The PO called us at 6 am about some chicks peeping their heads off. We got the order on the 16th, so I really hope you get your chicks! !

GOOD NEWS !!! Talked to Ideal shortly ago. The chicks were not shipped. They will be shipped this Wednesday and I should receive them by Friday. Don't know why the dates were screwed up but I am glad there are not any chicks missing in transit.

I'm glad no chicks are sitting around at some mail center waiting to be shipped... but I think Ideal should have at least sent you an email that the dates were changing.
