Didn't See That Coming

I went out for head count and lock up. Three were missing from the littles' coop (The Peanut Patch)....I found them roosting in the bigs' coop (The Flock House). I did not expect that or know what to do, so I locked all up and said goodnight.

I think it has. There is still separation between the flocks and the one hen is still a little nasty at times. But yesterday during free time, the rooster, Tips (still unsure if I should spell that with 1 or 2 p's), made the alarm call. I went to investigate and didn't see anything...came back in. He would not stop. I went back out and got close enough for the one little to come out from under the trampoline and make it to the bushes. Tips quieted down almost instantly. So he has evidently accepted them for his protection. I'm happy about that.
