We live in a small rural town and I know we have critters that come around at night, namely a neighborhood skunk. But the other night while the dog was patrolling "her" backyard, we heard her chasing something that scrambled up and over the side gate. My husband turned the porch light on and saw a small red foxing trying to decide which direction to go in next. I guess it was looking to have chicken for dinner but the girls were locked up tight in their house and my dog cheyenne doesn't like other critters in her yard.
