I'm a newbie here, and it plum slipped my mind to let anyone know on the board that I had chicks. I have absolutely no idea what types of chickens they are, mutt chickens. But they sure are pretty!

Was thinking the same thing about the light colored one. Definite roo. The other looks like my EE's except for the leg color. Great looking babies though. You must be very proud.

What about the yellow legs/feet ? My Welsumer pullets have yellow legs and they are laying.

chickens start out with bright yellow legs before they start laying, after they have been laying for long time, the color starts to drain from her legs
