Diet to Get Darker Blue Eggs Query

Well, I have no new pictures of those, but they're doing fine. The third one is being a bit listless and clingy with her Mum, but I gave her two drops of SpectoGuard and am hoping that clears it up (It's been so wet and dirty around here that I'm just assuming it's Coccidiosis--or scours, as I was taught to think of it.)

How old is bird?
You didn't happen to keep a 'before carrots' egg to photograph next to an 'after carrots' egg did you?

as it happens, I do have some 'before' eggs - great idea @aart. As soon as it's light I'll line some up against yesterday's blue and take a photo and post... before yesterday, I thought her eggs were just getting paler/duller because I read somewhere the colour fades as the cycle wears on, but now I think it's nutrient depletion...perhaps the jury should stay out till we have more evidence...
PS I'm not sure how old she is, I bought her supposedly as a POL this spring.

Well, the color does fade due to the depletion of some aspect of what they consume as the cycle progresses, then it builds back up over molt and winter break.

Try again in natural but indirect light ...is that a white piece of paper?
It can be really hard to capture accurate egg colors in a pic.

I read somewhere that when photographing blue eggs, it's best to use a dark surface and no flash.

UUM, it seems to me that there are 6 of one and half a dozen of the other.
