YOU can totally hear them peeping in their eggs! It's awesome-I talked to mine for daysssss...I kept saying come little guys I hear you-come see mommy! yup Im crazy!

WOW! I definitely talk to them every day, I just didn't realize there was any possibility of a conversation, too kewl!!!!!!!

I am actually doing pretty good at staying away. LOL

I have end of school parties I am planning, plus I am making another cake like the one in my avatar.
But bigger.

I only walk by every 30 minutes or so. Lol

And YES you can sooo hear them chirping!! its too cute!

My first one did zip. I burned up my mixer wtih ONE batch of icing left to go, and we ran to borrow one. when we came in, it had zipped and is now OUT!!

My 18 month old who DOES NOT talk. PERIOD. walked over adn screamed! then started with his 'gimme' hand.. LOL I went over and it was out!

Thanks every one, I am feeling better. At least about this one. The next one is pipping, so I fiqure I will be a nervous wreck till its out too. LOL

I do need to go adn see the pics though, thanks! I want to see what they leave behind IN the shell. I am afraid of the yolk not being all used up and all.. I am a worrier... LOL

talk? well.... I have conversations telling them how spoiled they will be if they just come out and stop tormenting momma on waiting!

No seriously I do-who knows if it works but I can tell you when they are drying off in the bator-they were quiet and sleepy but when I spoke from accross the room they heard me and peeped like crazy-I hope they did it because they wanted mom to get them and love them!!!

Ill post photos of my new silkie babies tonight so you can see what they look like at 6 days old :-)

when they frist start peeping -its few and far between-I put my computer right next to the bator-so I would literally be sitting there for an hour working then I would hear 1 tiny pip-when they get closer to hatching they get very vocal! day 20 and you should hear them! If you had time to stand there for a LONNNG time you should hear them a few times!

Ears and a quiet room-but when it nears the hatch-I could hear them over Dr.phil ( I have a flod down TV in kitchen :-) and me cooking dinner with 3 kids running around me-2 dogs fighting and cats running from dogs! they get loud as if they are already out...
