Difference between Ameraucana vs Araucana?

They want you to be confused, that’s why the hatcheries call them Americanas.

I wonder if my chick I have is a "real" Ameraucana or just an EE. I recently bought a few chicks from rural king and one of the chicks was either an Ameraucana or and Americana. sure wish i remember how they spelled it

Chances are it's an EE, only a very small handful of large hatcheries have Ameraucanas.

I’d like to add that EE/Americanas are great birds, you don’t need a pedigree to lay fancy eggs. I also think “mutts” are the best sort of dog

Here are some photos of her. The ones' of her next to the yellow chick were taken 2 days ago. She's close to being 6 weeks old. I think She might be a wheaten ameraucana or maybe just an EE I'm not sure

She's an EE, she's pretty darn cute though.
