Difference between Game, Black Copper Maran and leghorn roosters

Was wondering if anyone can tell me how to tell the difference. My roo was given to me by a friend and I suspect he is game, but game roosters and black copper maran and certain leghorn roos all look alike to me. What traits differintiate? I am still learning. He is a really great rooster, very calm, rather shy but takes wonderful care of his hens.

the leghorn will have white ear lobs
the marans should have whitish legs may or may not be feathered

looks like there is marans in him...does he have a beard?? he is to beefy to be a game breed. is he supposed to be pure? if so then i say he is a marans with clean legs

He is a pretty big guy and I'm not sure bout a beard...I don't think he has one...will have to check when I get home. I don't know if he is suposed to be pure or not. My husband's best friend gave me two hens and one roo from his flock. Of course my husband thought that was gonna cure my desire for chickens. Silly him, he apparently know chickens are like pringles and it was just going to start my addiction. I do know one of the hens is an easter egger (shiny black feathers with furry ears and feet) and the other hen is a game/mutt. Thanks so much for all the help.

Okay...checked him out yesterday and he does have a small black beard, most hidden by his wattle, but you can see the tufts coming out on the sides. I got more of his history so it is very possible he is a pure breed....
