What’s the difference between a Rhode Island Red and white

Basically nothing, just one has white feathers and the other has red. Nothing egg production wise, they are the same in temperament as well.

I just read an article about the misconception on how they are the same although they are not it takes 4 different chickens to create the Rode Island White which by the way was the original of the 2 they are very docile and friendly with their humans even their cocks are docile and friendly with the Reds coming close to the same Whites will not brood and have a big will to forage constantly scratching and are known to be super vocal where the reds are not as passionate whites can be dominating in the yard and should be with chickens of similar feathers oh yea it also stated that whites are racist they like to be with their own kind

Most here know that chickens are individuals, so personality, broodiness, aggression, foraging prowess etc is up to the individual bird.
