I have a beautiful little hen that I raised from a baby. She is now in the barn with the rest of the flock and doing just great.
Lately, I have seen here more with the Guinea birds than her own kind.

I would like to know how to ID her, but I do not know the difference between a Barred Rock hen and a Dominique hen.

Could any of you all enlighten me on this ??

Thanks so much.

Barred Rocks have tall, straight, narrow combs, Dominiques have flat, low combs. "Single" and "Rose" combs.

here's a chart i took from google searching..

if your chicken has the rose comb, it's a dominique.
if it has the single comb, it's a barred rock.
