Different aged babies Ok to brood together?

I will be picking up on May 19 eight day old chicks. I recently got for .50 a piece 3 silkies all hatched on different days. One silkie is huge and the other 2 appear 2-4 days old. Will I be able to keep the bigger/older silkies in with my new chicks? or will the age difference be a back thing?

I tried putting 5 day old chicks together and a 8 day old chick. They seemed fine
