So back in January my silkie chicken togepi hurt his leg so I separated him from the other 3 and he stayed in my room with me for a couple if nights. Now during the day he never did this but when I got into bed ready to go sleep he's pacing up and down the bed stretching his neck out and making lots of noise he kept jumping in bed with me curling up close and going to sleep next to me. I put him back in the floor and he kept doing it he wouldn't settle unless he was in bed next to me. He's a little bit poorly at the minute so he's back with me for a few nights and he's doing tje exact same thing again. I must admit he is a bit of a mummy's boy like when I pick him up he snuggles under my cardigan and rests his head in my shoulder
They are flock animals and don't like being alone. If you see them on the roost at night they squish in tight and snuggle.
