how do you separate food if you have different aged chicks? I have 9 that are 10 and 11 weeks old and a Lavender Amaraucana that is approx 23 weeks (so almost 6 month) they're all in the same coop and run. I know at this point the AM should be getting layer feed but how do I give that to just her?

Maybe raise the feeder? I don't know if that would work though, because the others are probably getting tall. Do you give them feed all the time, or have feedings? If you have feedings, you could put herein a separate spot to eat her feed.

@Crazy for Chickens! I leave their food in a container on the ground. My AM isn't much taller than the rest so raising something probably wouldn't work. I'll see if I can get a pic of her standing next to one of the 11 week olds
