Different Breeds Of Baby Chicks Together???

I have been wanting to do an experiment to see if grocery store eggs hatch. But if all goes well and I get a few babies from different egg companies, then is it safe to but the possibly different breed babies in the same brooder?

Oh, every year I get different breeds and brood them together. Its the same as brooding one breed.

I've got Easter Eggers, Olive Eggers, mixed breeds, Silkies and Sizzles (so bantam and standard sized chicks) all sharing the same brooder
I typically mix different breeds in the brooder because I have quite a few of them and hatch a lot, no issues.

I've had several different breeds brooded and raised together.

With your situation, all your chicks will be layer or dual purpose breeds, so they'll all be roughly the same size. That will be fine.
