hello everyone, here from Southern California!

well I barely have 3 chickens and they are all different breeds and ages. The oldest seems to peck on the other two and I don't know why. Is she pecking them to let them know she's the alpha? And is it ok to place all three together?

Welcome to BYC. You're right, the oldest is the alpha, aka "pecking order." It might be best to keep them separated from each other, yet close enough to see each other. This will make integration easier as time goes by.

Welcome to BYC. Glad you decided to join our flock. Your chickens need to be pretty close to the same size before you attempt to integrate them together. Even then you need to do so slowly and carefully using the "look but don't touch" method. There is a good article at https://poultrykeeper.com/general-chickens/introducing-new-chickens/ explaining how to do it. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Good luck in integrating your flock.

The smallest chick in your pictures, could certainly be harmed or killed, just thrown in with the older birds. Please follow the previous responders who suggest the "look but, don't touch" method.
