Hi im looking at different Chicken breeds
because the Cornish X is banned in UK and Cobb chicken are hard to get hold of
I wanted to create my own meat chicken
what I need to know is chicken characteristics
which breed grows slow
which breed grows fast
which is slim
which is fat
etc etc
can people with incite tell me what breed they know about and what they are like in respect to what I asked above

So far I know that the British Araucana is a slim breed that grows slow
and the Jersey is Slow growing but big
the Asil is slow growing but a great cross to use for meat
What I want to do is cross a tall breed like asil with a double breasted fast breed to get a good meat bird
