Different weights housed together?

Can different turkey breeds be housed together if they are different weights? I will be ordering turkeys next year and I'm looking at Naragansett, Burbon Red, and Royal Palm turkeys. I'd order them all at the same time and they would be kept as breeding stock with just a few to be eaten this year. Ideally I'd like to brood them all together but when they start growing I'm scared. I'd also like to house them together as adults at night and every day allow them into the communal chicken/duck/goose area but don't know how well they would do. What do you suggest? Or should I just pick one breed and raise it, eat it, and then reorder a different breed for next year, rinse and repeat? Or 3rd option, pick a breed, allow them to breed and raise poults, eat the adults when poults are self-sufficient, and raise the poults for same process next year? Oh too many choices!

they will be fine if they are kept together from brooder on...the problems sometimes arise when you try to add new animals to an existing flock...I keep royal palms, beltsville and blue slates together with no problems...Breeding is as simple as seperating the toms then introducing which ever male you want to whichever female you want with supervision....If you want to maintain the "pure bred" appearance of your birds....JMO

Sounds like a good plan so long as you have some place for the different breeds to be in different housing during breeding season if you want purebred birds. As for introducing them to the chickens, ducks and whatever, I've never had a problem with that providing the turks were bigger than the chickens. We have a semi-evil roo who hates anything new coming into HIS pen but he backed his butt right down when I put my two Bourbons in there with him.
