Difficulty laying eggs

My Poland bantam seems to have a problem laying eggs and has done ever since she began laying in May this year. She always gets there in the end, but starting at lunchtime she marches round and round the run, shouting all the time until she lays her egg in the late afternoon. When we let the flock out into the garden (which we do most days), the shouting stops but the marching doesn't. After she's laid her egg she's fine - back to her normal self.

Has anyone else come across this sort of behaviour? Does anyone know if something can be done to help her or even if help is needed?
