Digestive issues with duck eggs

So we just got adult ducks this weekend, and i tryed an egg. It was delicious, loved it. Got really excited about duck eggs. Well it was shortly lived, disrupted by bubbling stomach. Followed by sulfer tasting burps, and toilet problems. Apon further investigation, found an article saying ducks eggs have extra sulfur in them and people who have sulfa drug allergies might be unable to digest duck eggs. I'm allergic to sulfa drugs...... Any one have issues with duck eggs that went away? I want to eat them so badly!

If you decide to test your response to duck eggs again, just to be sure, you might want to limit yourself to a SMALL amount!

I only ate one the first time, I do plan to try another one in a few days. I scrambled the first one. And I read that adding milk to it stabilizes the sulfer in it. So I will try it without milk.

No, you can't ...You would need to test the living area and send off for tests...Contact a Poultry Hatchery or livestock Vet and they can get you information on how to require the test..
