I have a 4 foot fence around my, er, former garden. The chickens easily breach it. How high is your fence?

I have a 4 foot fence around my, er, former garden. The chickens easily breach it. How high is your fence?

The fence was originally built to keep deer out. It is 8' high.

The chickens have access to a run that is 50' x 100' and is below where the garden is. The part of the run that is adjacent to the garden has bird netting over it. The chickens do not get into the garden.

Some years a turkey hen will decide to make her nest in the garden. A turkey hen sitting on a nest does very little damage in the garden.

Absolutely! Pumpkin races are big all over - both literally and figuratively!

I need the wheelbarrow for other things. Part of it is cooking right now. Raw, it tastes very similar to Big Moose.

Or Cinderella. She got a beautiful carriage and a prince.
The carriage did turn back to a pumpkin at midnight. It was a cool ride while it lasted and she got to keep the prince!

I hope he liked pumpkin pie ...
