Dill's Giant Atlantic pumpkin diary

I went ahead and harvested my pumpkins due to a outbreak of squash bug problems. I only got 9 pumpkins this year due to several setbacks. Most of them are very small with the biggest one weighing only 20 pounds. But there is always next year.

I am sure that Mystery #1 is over 100 lbs. If the seeds are mature, I will be saving some for next year.

I think I will try Cinderella's Ride next year.

Nice haul there Bob!!!!! Did you harvest all your pumpkins?
Most of the hybrid ones. Their weights make me suspect that the mystery pumpkin is an actual Big Moose. I did have one or two Big Moose vines that were late starters.

It's been a really cool year and none of the hybrids made the weight that the straight Big Moose pumpkins have for me in the past.

The hybrids did make a short season pumpkin of decent size but I doubt that I will plant them again.
