Dimensions for Nest Box

Will someone give me the number of boxes and dimensions that I need for 8-9 egg layers?

I made my nest boxes 14 deep, 14 wide, 14 tall, with a 1x4 on the front so the eggs can't roll out. I also made the top on a 45 degree slope so they can't roost on top the nest boxes. You should be ok with 2 nest boxes, but if you're thinking of ever getting more chickens doesn't hurt to have a couple extra nest boxes while your making them.

I have 8 hens and I have 3 boxes, 1 ft wide and 1 ft deep and 1 1/2 to 2 ft tall. Good Luck!
