Can dimethyl sulfoxide be used for chickens?

What are you wanting to use it for? I don’t have experience with DMSO, but there are a number of threads where people have suggested it’s use on some wounds. Here is a link with many posts:

Since there are literally no vets exotic or otherwise within 500 miles who will look at a chicken and I cant afford thousands of dollars in vet bills. Whenever I walk through ifa or similar stores I spend a minute or two checking out their meds for other animals. This time I saw dimethyl sulfoxide and it says its a painkiller, I have a chicken with bumblefoot and it breaks my heart to see her shake when she knows that I am going to be digging out the infection (she doesn't know why, she just know it means pain). I wanted to possibly add a pain killer to my arsenal of chicken meds if I could.
