Dippy Eggs

I may try the feed switch idea. Maybe I'll pick 5 of my girls and keep them in a separate coop and run and feed them only that and see what happens. They do have PLENTY of coop space and have the ability to come out and sit in the barn because it's attached if they feel crowded but they never do I have had a duck and 2 other Rouge girls run off and try to start a hidden clutch but other then that no 95% of the time the eggs are always in there boxes. I have only been raising for a year now on a large scale like meat chickens and selling eggs and stuff. But I've always had a few here and there growing up and etc. From family and other relatives having them. But as far as yolk breakage i never had any issue until these girls started laying like 5 months ago i think. Basically this batch of hens I got from a different farm this year that has been my supplier as far as breeding and incubating and so on. As far as comparing ingredients there's not much to compare it's just a local feed supplier from this area. It's not like a major brand company or anything. The bags are just solid white and have a tag that says what it is with the protein amount and a few ingredients. Like how much soy and crude protein and stuff like that. Nothing that goes into major detail really

They probably add a 'concentrate' to the grains, which would include the various V, M, AA.
....you should be able to get a list of ingredients in the concentrate if you ask.

I'd never heard of "dippy eggs", but I got hungry for some eggs and toast so I had some for breakfast this morning.

Lol I Googled Dippy eggs and I got this..."Over easy" fried eggs are also commonly referred to as "dippy eggs" or "dip eggs" by Marylanders, by Pennsylvania Dutch persons living in central Pennsylvania, and by those living around them, mainly due to the practice of dipping toast into the yolk while eating.....seeing how I live in Pennsylvania maybe that's why Noone understands what I'm saying lol. I guess it's like calling soda "pop" instead of "coke" and stuff like that. But I strongly encourage to have some dippy eggs and toast

Always interesting to learn where colloquialisms originate....there's a lot of strange ones...course they are all strange to some while familiar to others.

I have my form of dippy eggs....poached or sunny side up....on top of toast and eaten with a fork.
