and Saturday (I"ll be gone but my bestest friend is watching them hatch for me...LUCKY girl!!) 2 bators STILL full, and, of course, my lop had her babies!! Busy busy busy!

Congrats - as of this moment my eggs from Dipsy all did well also. Thanks Lisa. I have 12 pretty fluffy babies. Lost track of how many Americaunas and how many Barred Rocks but I think half each. One EE and one BR have not hatched or pipped but I'm leaving them in bator. I had to help every BR out of shell yesterday - they were huge and packed in there. Couldn't do more than pip tiny hole they were so packed in. Left EE eggs in bator last night, one had just started pipping and hubby woke me at 5 this morning to tell me there were 6 baby chicks in there. 3 or 4 are a pretty steel blue.

I'll post pics when I get a chance.

Hi Crystal - here's pics of your babies' brothers and sisters.

First ones out were the Barred Rocks (6) - had to help each one by zipping shell for them. They were packed in like ButterBall turkeys.

Ameracaunas got themselves out during the night (6). Smaller but a lot more hyper and on their feet running around right away.

Everybody say "HI" to grandma Lisa. Remind her your birthdays are February 14 and 15. Send money.
