Can you tell frizzles when they hatch or do they have teh same feathers as other chicks?? Can you tell on yours? I had some of Dispy's hatch also and beside the NN's, I cant tell if they are frizzles or not....
Hi Tiffany! You should be able to see the feathers coming in the 'wing-tips' at 3 or 4 days (you have to look close).
They'll have a leetle bit of a curl from the beginning
I'm a little worried, though...The chicks are running around, rolling eggs! I'm losing track of pips cuz they're being turned upside down! But the ones that hatched aren't dry enough for the brooder...
They will be fine, just keep the bator closed until the hatch is done. You dont want the pips to get dried membranes. Mine look like they are playing soccer. Could you imagine what a ride those chicks inside the eggs are having.
I can only imagine, in my worst dreams of rollercoaster rides!! I just watched one poor little eggie get rolled all the way across the bator!! And it's already pipped...poor thing!
