Not sure what’s happening. We have bathed her bum every weekend now for three weeks. It always comes back. We are trying to monitor her poops. Some are runny and some are normal. She is almost two, still laying like normal and no signs of any distress.

Does her lower belly between her legs appear more enlarged than other hens? An enlarged belly can be a sign of fluid (ascites) or a reproductive disorder. Enlargement can make it easier for droppings to not clear the area under the vent. It looks like she is being feather picked by the broken feathers and new ones coming in. Do you notice any leakage of droppings or an unusually bad odor? What are you feeding? Do you use a probiotic or does your feed contain them?
