Dirty eggs in mail!!!!!!

Haven't hatched chicken eggs like that, but we have hatched duck eggs from the coop as is. And ducks are messy. All the eggs hatched into healthy ducklings! Good luck with your hatch!

Hi! I set and hatch my dirty-yucky eggs here, but I wouldn't sell them as 'eggs for hatching'.
I have duck pairs sharing housing with my chickens right now and most of my ducks enjoy laying (stomping their big muddy feet) in the same nest boxes the chickens use = muddy eggs.

Recieved eggs from the dirty jacked up muddy egg auction, due to be set in the bator on sunday 1/31. Excellent buy, not broken eggs , and not to dirty.

Honestly, I'm not sure that I understand the issue. I've set poop eggs before, and I've received them in the mail. If I could just flake it off, I did so, if not, into the bator they went, poop and all. I didn't know that there was any cause for concern for poop. It is natural afterall!

Yeah but I would hate to sell them for more money and not mention they are pooped and mud rolled. I just put it out there how it is, and let the chips fall as they may. I feel a lot better that way than sendng a load of eggs to someone expecting pristine, perfect, unmarred eggs... Just a little truth in advertising and having fun at the same time.

Second, since this is your first hatch and staggered at that, I don't think you can attribute any losses to the seller of the eggs. Staggered hatches are a bit tricky. Do you have a separate hatcher to move the eggs to on Day 18?
