This might be completely normal but I’m a first time chick mom so I have no idea 
This is my 4 week old BO feathers. Looks like dirt. Do I need to clean it off? No idea how it got that way. The only thought is one time I put some mash in there and maybe it went crazy and got it on its feathers 
it’s on both sides, mainly on the ends of the feathers.
