I have 4 ducks and a pond that's about 7X10 that we dug and use black pond paper. It stays dirty (green) and we constantly (every 2-3 days) have to use a 5 gallon bucket to get the water out. Does anyone know of an easier way to filter the water? Thanks

We can't because the pond is lower than ground level and the hose would need to be lower to keep water flowing :(

Easy fix! Get a Mag 5 pump from your local fish store. The store that sells pet fish, not a food fish store. Or you can go online here ... http://www.drsfostersmith.com/product/prod_display.cfm?pcatid=4590

Get the size you want, get some clear tubing to match the outlet size, drop the pump to the bottom of your pond and it will be empty in no time. I would order about 15' of tubing to run the dirty water away.

I have a saltwater fish tank and this is how I drain/fill my tank for water changes.

If FILTER was the key word in your question, I am interested in the answer as well. Our two can dirty up their pool pretty quickly any more. So I am looking into this as well, if I come up with an idea I will certainly share it here.
