My chicken is currently blind and only eats when I put her in front of her feed/water dishes and assist her. Once she knows where the food and water is - - she eats really well before napping. I just don't know how often is enough to keep her healthy. I was trying to go in every couple of hours.. to get her a few bites and drinks but it's getting harder and harder while running a household with 3 boys and MANY animals.

HOW OFTEN WOULD YOU THINK IS APPROPRIATE?
Thank you

Most blind animals can learn where their food and water is just fine. Don't move it at all. I'd keep showing her where it is, but likely she will soon learn where to go to eat and drink. As for how often, perhaps once every few hours, if you truly think she has not taken any nourishment on her own.
