Disappointing Surprise Pullet Mix

I ordered 10 surprise pullet and they all arrived dead. But there was 6 different breeds out of the 10 chicks

They replaced my order the next week, 1 was DOA but I got 3 different breeds out of 10 chicks
6 are White leghorns (1 died)
3 are Rhode Island Reds and 1 is a tiny solid black chick

Anyone else get such a small variety when ordering surprise pullets. I really wasn't expecting to get 6 of one breed. Pretty disappointed in the selection. I wish my 1st order would have made it alive

When did you order?
Which hatchery?

Most say they include a variety but do not guarantee a variety.

So sorry you had ones that didn't make it.

Many 'more interesting' breeds don't get shipped out until at least February, depending on the hatchery.
