We let the girls out of the run this morning, and I noticed one of them acting a bit nervous and secretive. She was up to something for sure. I watched while she went deep into the blackberries, and then, I decided it was time to act. I managed to scare her out, then we picked her up, put her in the run, where she finally found her way back to the hen house and into nest box #1. Easter egg hunts are fun, but only when you are the one hiding the eggs!

That would have been a painful easter egg hunt

My ducks have recently started the same shenanigans.

Silly creatures. I have found more eggs in my flower gardens than in their house lately. I wish they would knock it off. You're right that it's only fun when you are doing the hiding.
