Disciplining your birds????

I just took a moment and you know what, I pity the humans. They're being talked about on an online form that they may or may not go on regularly. Pictures they posted are being posted. Conversation parts are being copied and pasted here. They're putting up with aggressive animals that should really just be processed because they bite the hand that feeds and cares for them to boot. This isn't being discussed in BYC appropriate manner in my opinion, and I think we can do better here, so rather than just report comments on this thread, I thought I would tell you first. We're supposed to be a welcoming, helpful community.
...you know, this could be pictures of your birds and your comments being held up for public viewing in a negative light next. I don't know about you, but that would make me very sad and feel quite alienated if I did happen to reach out for help in this direction.

Starting an argument was not my intention by asking about the disciplining of birds or any other animal for that matter. I saw what was being posted about people hitting their birds and it infuriated me. So i came here to ask y'alls opinion.

I personally have no problem with what you posted. It brought members together to discuss what is & what is not considered abuse. We may not all agree but it's clear that the majority here know good animal husbandry when they see it.
